B A C K G R O U N D
I’ve been lucky enough to have been exposed to many artistic people in my life. Some have mentored me, others I’ve worked for, all I consider my friends. Art has always been a constant in my life and continues to be the backbone of my existence. I get great joy out of helping others achieve their artistic goals and means of expression, and the spectrum of my influence and interest is vast.
Next to interning and assisting some outstanding artists and friends, I attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago making Chicago my home for several years. There I strived to polish my artistic skills in all forms, beating my brain with theroms, avante-garde stimuli and philosophical backdrops pertaining to art, how it’s made, why it’s made and the value of what we describe as “Post-Modern” or “Contemporary”. I learned here to develop my idiosyncrasies authentically, and met some amazing and talented individuals along the way. I recommend visiting the Art Institute when you can. The Francis Bacon on the second floor of the Modern Wing takes my breathe away every time I see it in person.
Design in many of its forms. Photoshop, Corel, Illustrator, etc. There are many avenues to go about a task and so many ways to go about a thing. You need a designer? Just let me know.
Words are fun. Language is a virus, ya know? Another passsion of mine is literature and sometimes writing. If you have a thought or two you would like to send my way, please feel free to do so.
A little Photography, a bit of Video Production and Music Production are some other notable things I partake in. Everything from Arthouse videos to Album Design and production.
